Massimo arrived from Germany in 2020 and has not disappointed.

 

He has been shown and achieved champion fawn male at the Yorkshire Alpaca group (2021) alongside other accolades.

 

He is such a macho male with a true to type head and strong bone and frame  He has a good coverage of fleece head-to-toe which is very dense. He has excellent uniformity of micron across the frame and within the staple.  He has a slighter shorter staple length so pairing with a longer fleeced female is recommended.  

 

We are so impressed with what Massimo has produced thus far and many of our core females have been produced by him. He has produced show winning progeny to be proud of.

 

He has primary passed on his high level of density and, uniformity [finding his progeny have low SD]. Also his progeny have strong macho frames with attractive head types.  Massimo has passed on the spot gene in a couple of his progeny [multi] so something to think about in pairings [don't use females with a white spot].
